Egypt may just be the first to face the challenge of creating a free public electoral media ..
..with a voting system akin to ATM's ...
it must happen and it will happen, the question is when?
or will another Country will be the First?
When we experience injustice in our lives the first inclination must be to stop, reflect upon our role in it, take responsibility and choose to act or not, what ever the greater good requires.
When you understand that all debts are paid then you understand FAITH. Sometimes the reward is greater when you Go Zen..."Let things come as they may come and go as they may Go.." Unfortunately this too creates an imbalance (the birth of Heaven and Hell, my benevolence creates your ignorance). So this is life, the chase for balance. When you come to understand and stop in your tracks and see relationships as they are, then you must accept that for humanity to exist, this veil of imbalance exists. It too is very precious and very delicate. We must be humble enough to accept amends that others deem and to thwart the strike of ignorance that sees not the mirror and to be the mirror. All of us are guilty and innocent and it is very humbling.
As for Politics, it is easy to see that what has happened in Egypt is secondary. Change still is best served through peaceful means of election and due and fair process. The problem is that without Fair Voice for all Candidates there can not be a fair election. This has been the imbalance of the United States and it is ingrained in its roots from GB (Great Britain) and NA (Native America) conflicts from the start. So what we have is the ability to rise beyond the imbalance of our predecessors through awareness in order to create a clean slate.
There must be a clear and concise way to let every voice be presented without financial backing, fairly accessible from the government (The people) themselves, perhaps a free media electoral network provided for exactly that.
The problem is the Media is the Power Structure at the moment and elections are a multi-billion dollar business. Networks have no intention of letting this avenue of thought be broadcast. But together we can choose equal access for all candidates and a fair voting system with new checks and balances using secure social security cards and voting encryption. It's very possible and we must have the political will to create it and the faith to trust that we do the right thing and change to facilitate it and let things fall in place as they will.
